  • Welcome to Jasmine Photography!

Photography will always be a part of my life. A big thank you goes out to my grandfather and my parents for loving the art and exposing me to it at an early age. With over eleven years of professional shooting I enjoy seeing the happiness between two couples in love, the laughter of family and seeing a genuine smile emerge. It's also my job to make my subject look their best in camera. I will direct you for the best pose, put you in the best light, and we'll have fun the whole time!

Every click of my shutter creates a lasting memory for you and your family. The images featured here are how I see people, objects and places through a lens. Thanks for stopping by, contact me with any questions you may have. Enjoy!

Vote for My Work

As a new mother I am learning I have less and less “free” time. It’s amazing watching your little one grow and such a blessing. With it comes change at home and at work. With my photography I am only shooting for clients who contact me directly. You will not see me actively advertising anymore. Either you like more work or you don’t, if you do, then we can move forward with a project.

I have also discovered I am able to focus more on my personal photography. After ten years of shooting other peoples ideas and projects I now get more time to shoot for me. I recently submitted to for a chance to be a part of their artist marketplace. I think the series of black and white spiderwebs matted with large white mat board and a black frame will look bold and modern in a home or office space. Please take a moment to vote for my black and white spiderweb photography. Thank you for your support. Cheers – Alexis

Gallery Show

After taking a break to focus on family (had a baby) I’m excited to announce I am working on a gallery show of personal work that will open on Friday, August 15th at Abbey Creek Tasting Room at 31441 NW Commercial St, North Plains, OR 97133 from 6-10pm.  Photography will always be a part of me, it’s my passion and gift. There are times as an artist you need to step away and take a break. I needed that after shooting events and portraits for over ten years. Being pregnant was the perfect break and then having a sweet, beautiful baby girl! She is amazing and it’s a true blessing to be a mom. With the much needed break I had some time to think about what I wanted to showcase at the monthly art walk at Abbey Creek.

I decided to go back to my roots, to photograph what I started out in. I call it found objects. Buildings, cars, furniture, farm equipment etc that is found out in nature. Items that have become weathered and worn over time. These things have been abandoned by their owners and left to mother nature. She breaks them down in different ways, paint chips, metal rusts, wood breaks and roofs fall in.

These are a few images from where I shot. An amazing yard filled with old cars. I was in photo heaven. Want to see more? Come join me for an evening of images, wine, chocolates and cheese!  Follow the facebook page of Abbey Creek for updates. (note: the images below will not be on display.)

High School Senior

Senior sessions are always fun because they are like little mini fashion shoots. With a few outfit changes, accessories and different shoes it’s a fun time to mark a big change in your life. Graduating from High School is a great accomplishment and puts you on the path to becoming your own person and pursuing your interests in college. I had a great session with the lovely Grace. Enjoy her beautiful pics!

Family Portraits in the Pearl

Family photos are markers for our ever changing lives. We change and grow but our children do it much faster. It seems like every day they look a little different or are making a new facial expression. It’s important to capture some of those moments with family portraits so you have something to look back on. Here are few from a great outdoor session with a couple whom I was honored to photograph their engagement session, wedding and now their first baby! Enjoy.
