  • Welcome to Jasmine Photography!

Photography will always be a part of my life. A big thank you goes out to my grandfather and my parents for loving the art and exposing me to it at an early age. With over eleven years of professional shooting I enjoy seeing the happiness between two couples in love, the laughter of family and seeing a genuine smile emerge. It's also my job to make my subject look their best in camera. I will direct you for the best pose, put you in the best light, and we'll have fun the whole time!

Every click of my shutter creates a lasting memory for you and your family. The images featured here are how I see people, objects and places through a lens. Thanks for stopping by, contact me with any questions you may have. Enjoy!

Silcox Hut Wedding

A few photos from a wedding I’m currently editing that had all kinds of weather but tons of smiles, laughter and love!  We all had an exciting trip up to the hut via the snow cats and the couple was excited to announce to all their guests that they are having a baby boy! Enjoy and more to come soon from this stunning couples wedding day.

We’re married!

Life has been busy over the past few months with planning a small, intimate wedding. My awesome husband and I had an amazing day that went by way to quickly. If only you could add more hours to the day! We lucked out with 80 degree weather on May 12th and had a lovely outdoor ceremony. I picked some of my favorite local vendors to help create our day and couldn’t have been happier with each of them.  Here are a few images from our day, I hope you are getting excited for yours. I have a couple more dates available for the 2012 year, contact me at lxs@jasminephotography.com for more info!

Our day wouldn’t have come together without the talented Portland vendors listed below. Thank you all for making our wedding day so special and memorable!

Nicole Nash - Such a gorgeous wedding, your smiles make the day!! Congratulations :-)

I’m still here!

Wow, I can’t believe how long it’s been since I posted on my blog. I feel like such a slacker! What have I been doing you ask? Well, The Art of Weddings 2012 event kept me super busy. In addition to the event I updated the website myself. I’m super excited to announce that it combines everything into one site. You can find info from the annual bridal show, a blog with wedding style boards, real weddings and advice along with a dedicate vendor search for Portland wedding vendors. Head over and check it out and then follow me on the Art of Wedding facebook page as well and you can find me on Pinterest pinning away! Whew, we have been busy online.

I’m still shooting but only a limited amount of weddings for 2012 as well as portraits. It’s a first come basis so if you are interested in my work shoot me an email and we can talk about your upcoming wedding or portrait idea.

You can find me over on facebook where I’m a little better at updating and adding images under the Jasmine Photography fan page.

In the meantime here are a few images I have shot in the past few months. Enjoy and have a great day.

A sweet tea house wedding I photographed down in Tualatin, Oregon. It was a lovely event with family and close friends. After the ceremony everyone gathered for an afternoon of tea and finger foods.

There was a woodland feel to this small wedding at a church in Southwest Portland. With emerald green’s for the accent color and the couple getting their wedding date tattooed on their ring finger, it was a unique and touching event.
