  • Welcome to Jasmine Photography!

Photography will always be a part of my life. A big thank you goes out to my grandfather and my parents for loving the art and exposing me to it at an early age. With over eleven years of professional shooting I enjoy seeing the happiness between two couples in love, the laughter of family and seeing a genuine smile emerge. It's also my job to make my subject look their best in camera. I will direct you for the best pose, put you in the best light, and we'll have fun the whole time!

Every click of my shutter creates a lasting memory for you and your family. The images featured here are how I see people, objects and places through a lens. Thanks for stopping by, contact me with any questions you may have. Enjoy!

Claire + Oliver’s Wedding Day

Yes, yes, I know. I’m playing catch up on posting my weddings from last season. But you won’t be disappointed with Claire and Oliver’s bright and cheerful wedding! Held at McMenamin’s Cornelious Pass Roadhouse they had a lovely day accented with bright red and turquoise. Claire looked stunning and Oliver couldn’t stop looking at his beautiful bride. I was fortunate to have my friend and fellow photographer Kate Kelly shooting with me at the event. Below are a few images from their day, I hope you enjoy!

Maternity Photos

It’s always exciting to hear from a couple who’s wedding I photographed and find out they are having a baby! Brooke and Eric we married over three years ago and now they are expanding their family to add one more! Brooke’s smile is infectious and she is just glowing during her pregnancy. We shoot in the studio and outside, giving them a diverse set of images. Now it’s countdown time until their little girl arrives. Here are a few of my fav’s from the session. Enjoy!

Baby On The Way

Boring maternity photos? Not here! I had the pleasure to photograph the cute Morgan and her husband Jeff. The session was filled with colorful backdrops along Alberta Street. Morgan, a talented photographer also, was a breeze to photograph and Jeff was rockin’ his handle bar mustache. If you are connected to me on facebook you’ll some of my favorite portraits of me were shot by Morgan. I must say, this couple is brave. They do not know if they are having a boy or a girl and are going to wait to be surprised! How much fun is that? Here are some of my fav’s from the shoot. Enjoy!

Family Photos

Each year I donate a few gift certificates to different causes. Most often they are used to raise money at a school auction. This family won a portrait session. So we met up and walked around the beautiful park to capture some photos of them and the kids alone. I’m always entertained to see how children react or don’t to having their photos taken. I’m not opposed to capturing those silly faces and how much fun to have them look back on them when they are adults! Here are a few of my fav’s from the Danish Family shoot. Enjoy.

Sara + Zac’s Wedding

I think I mentioned a few posts back how I am not relating blog posting to writing a hand written letter. Well, this post is a short story wedding goodness! It’s funny how life kinda gets in the way of posting for me, since I’ve been wanting to share this wedding with you for a long time. Once reason I didn’t post it until now is because it was submitted to wedding magazines and they don’t like the stuff they publish to be all over the web. So it got tucked away for a bit. I’m a sucker for details and this had to have been the best detail wedding I’ve had thus far. I was thrilled to have Kate Kelly second shooting with me for the day.We always have fun when we can work together.

The Historic Deepwood Estate in Salem, Oregon was the backdrop for the event. Punch Floral & Event Design created a floral arrangement and table decor for the couple to share the day with family and friends. Sara and Zac’s vision had a lot of hard work involved up to the date. They built the door frames that they walked thru for the ceremony, creating a unique entrance. This was so hard to narrow down to show to you, below is what I feel tells a small story of the day. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy!
