  • Welcome to Jasmine Photography!

Photography will always be a part of my life. A big thank you goes out to my grandfather and my parents for loving the art and exposing me to it at an early age. With over eleven years of professional shooting I enjoy seeing the happiness between two couples in love, the laughter of family and seeing a genuine smile emerge. It's also my job to make my subject look their best in camera. I will direct you for the best pose, put you in the best light, and we'll have fun the whole time!

Every click of my shutter creates a lasting memory for you and your family. The images featured here are how I see people, objects and places through a lens. Thanks for stopping by, contact me with any questions you may have. Enjoy!

Packing and Moving

This week is all about packing up my office and apartment. Spring means change and a big change is happening now. I’m moving into a new space that will be for living and work. I’m very excited to get into a new space where I can push my creative eye with studio shoots. In the meantime I’m not very excited about the actual packing and moving process! For some reason I’m having a hard time getting motivated to pack. I’ll do a little here, a little there. Well, today is the day to get most of it done! I wanted to let ya all know that my internet may be down for a few days during the transition. I’ll do my best to get back to you as soon as a I can!

Have a great day!

Professional Headshots

After I had some professional photos taken of myself I realized how important it is to have some quality images of yourself. Point and shoot cameras just don’t do it. Honestly, they make most of us look bad; with either a double chin, crazy red-eye or the flash blowing out all your features! I knew I’d need some good headshots for business purposes, such as my website and blog. There are so many other ways you can use them. Curt featured here is an aspiring actor and knew that having his friend snap some pics wouldn’t cut it. Now he has a solid set of photos to submit to agency’s and great pics for his family and friends. Ohh, don’t forget about facebook either! You’ll really stand out online with a great portrait. So whether it’s to remember how you looked in your 20′s, to get the man you’ve been waiting for by online dating or for your business website, don’t wait to get your photo taken! Just say cheese and rock it. Here are some of my fav’s from Curt’s headshot session. Enjoy.

Candid Family Photos

I headed over the photograph the Aman Family this winter. I hadn’t seen them in a few years and since then they added another addition to their family! Now the house is filled with two cute and energy filled boys who I’m thinking are going to start a band in no time or be bike racers. Here are a few pics from their shoot. Enjoy.

Courtney + Dan = Married!

I haven’t been able to post Courtney and Dan’s wedding images until the current issue of Oregon Bride hit newsstands. Now that it’s out (go get one, it’s great!) I can share their stylish wedding with all of you! They had a fabulous wedding with the getting ready starting at The Ace Hotel and then taking a pedi cab ride over to the Eco Trust building for a balcony ceremony. Loved all the bridesmaids dresses, each unique and set off with modern yellow flowers. Beer was a main theme for the couple at the ceremony and reception, with hops decorating the fireplace and light and dark beer options for guests. Culinary Artistry did the catering, yummy as always. During the ceremony Dan surprised Courtney with another diamond ring! She had no idea he was going to do that, it was a special moment. Enough with the chit chat, let’s get to the goods! Here are images from their day. Check out the online link to read more about their event at Oregon Bride Magazine. Enjoy!
