  • Welcome to Jasmine Photography!

Photography will always be a part of my life. A big thank you goes out to my grandfather and my parents for loving the art and exposing me to it at an early age. With over eleven years of professional shooting I enjoy seeing the happiness between two couples in love, the laughter of family and seeing a genuine smile emerge. It's also my job to make my subject look their best in camera. I will direct you for the best pose, put you in the best light, and we'll have fun the whole time!

Every click of my shutter creates a lasting memory for you and your family. The images featured here are how I see people, objects and places through a lens. Thanks for stopping by, contact me with any questions you may have. Enjoy!

2012 High School Seniors Wanted!

Summer is right around the corner, I can feel it! The sun is finally shining, the air is getting warmer and sandals are slipping onto people’s feet around town. With summer comes time off from school but it’s also the time when juniors are prepping for their final year of high school. A big year. The year before heading off to college.

I love shooting senior photos; the kids are so stylish, fun and I love getting that “real” smile out of them. Jasmine Photography is currently seeking representatives for the studio. By being a rep you get an hour portrait session with up to two outfit changes and then great products afterwards. For full details email or call the studio. There are only a few spots open for reps, so if you are interested don’t hesitate!

Nicole + Paul = Married!

Nicole and Paul had a fabulous wedding on September 5th of 2010. With a beautiful winery as their backdrop the whole day was filled with everyone helping to create Nicole’s wonderful vision. With three cakes, one an amazing house under construction with a bride and groom fixing it up (this had been their project for many months), another with the vineyard decor, and finally a grooms cake that looked like poker chips (Paul loves going to Vegas). The weather was amazing, not too hot and not too cold. Nicole’s dress was hand-made by a friend and was amazing on her! If was difficult to narrow down the images to show here. Enjoy!

Packing and Moving

This week is all about packing up my office and apartment. Spring means change and a big change is happening now. I’m moving into a new space that will be for living and work. I’m very excited to get into a new space where I can push my creative eye with studio shoots. In the meantime I’m not very excited about the actual packing and moving process! For some reason I’m having a hard time getting motivated to pack. I’ll do a little here, a little there. Well, today is the day to get most of it done! I wanted to let ya all know that my internet may be down for a few days during the transition. I’ll do my best to get back to you as soon as a I can!

Have a great day!

Professional Headshots

After I had some professional photos taken of myself I realized how important it is to have some quality images of yourself. Point and shoot cameras just don’t do it. Honestly, they make most of us look bad; with either a double chin, crazy red-eye or the flash blowing out all your features! I knew I’d need some good headshots for business purposes, such as my website and blog. There are so many other ways you can use them. Curt featured here is an aspiring actor and knew that having his friend snap some pics wouldn’t cut it. Now he has a solid set of photos to submit to agency’s and great pics for his family and friends. Ohh, don’t forget about facebook either! You’ll really stand out online with a great portrait. So whether it’s to remember how you looked in your 20′s, to get the man you’ve been waiting for by online dating or for your business website, don’t wait to get your photo taken! Just say cheese and rock it. Here are some of my fav’s from Curt’s headshot session. Enjoy.
