  • Welcome to Jasmine Photography!

Photography will always be a part of my life. A big thank you goes out to my grandfather and my parents for loving the art and exposing me to it at an early age. With over eleven years of professional shooting I enjoy seeing the happiness between two couples in love, the laughter of family and seeing a genuine smile emerge. It's also my job to make my subject look their best in camera. I will direct you for the best pose, put you in the best light, and we'll have fun the whole time!

Every click of my shutter creates a lasting memory for you and your family. The images featured here are how I see people, objects and places through a lens. Thanks for stopping by, contact me with any questions you may have. Enjoy!

Stacie & Jon’s Engagement Shoot

Last Sunday we braved the cold weather to snap some engagement photos of Stacie and Jon who will be getting married in April of this year. They were a little uncomfortable in front of the camera at first. By the end of the session they were having a great time and the images below are some of my favorites from the session. Aren’t they cute together! Can’t wait for their wedding.

Karena & James’ Wedding Day

Here are some pics from Karena & James’ wedding on Feb. 11th. The weather was amazing with clear, blue skies. As you can tell from the photos they were smiles all day long, even though they barely got any sleep the nite before! After the family formals we sneaked out back and had some time with just the two of them, I love the simplicity of the concrete wall and the texture it has. Enjoy!

Hawthorn Farms Fashion Show

Last thursday evening I was at the Hawthorn Farms athletic club’s annual fashion show. I was there to capture Erica’s fashions. She is the owner of Garnish Apparel and creates fun, cute and wearable fashions. Opening the show was a set of acrobats who hung in every position possible from giant rings dangling from the ceiling. I had fun playing motion and blur in these images. Enjoy!

The Art of Weddings

On an afternoon at a coffee shop in the pearl district, myself and Marlynn of Event Bliss were chatting about
weddings and how all the events for brides seemed so plain and boring. That afternoon we decided to create an event
like no other and named it The Art of Weddings. The idea behind it was to to have vendors pariticipate who love what they do and work with their clients to create a wedding day that showcases their personalities.

We are so excited to be working with Dosha Salon and Spa on northwest 23rd. They will be opening their doors for the event in March. The evening is sure to be fun and unique along with lots of great advice and ideas from all the vendors there. To rsvp and learn more about who will be there visit; http://www.artofweddingspdx.com. The first 100 who signed up will receive a special gift bag, but don’t worry if you are not one of the first 100 because there will be surprises for everyone!
Hope to see you all on March 23rd!

Fashion from the Art Institute of Portland.

Every quarter I photograph soon to graduate apparel design students work. I ask them to bring in props, accessories etc to complete the look of their outfits. Below are a few pics from a shoot in November of 05. I love working in a studio setting photographing fashion and seeing the great designs from all of the students. The next shoot is in the beginning of March, so be sure to check back to view images from it.
